Saying goodbye to your animals is a very difficult time and we understand that in many cases, it can be a more relaxed and peaceful experience when carried out at home.

At Mobile Vet Scotland, we are privileged to be entrusted with providing this service on a regular basis and we try our utmost to make everything as easy and peaceful an experience as possible. We would like to be upfront and say that due to the extended time allowed for this unhurried service, this is likely to be more expensive than if the procedure happens in your own vet’s clinic. Our fee for this service is £300 inc VAT in central Scotland (West Lothian, Falkirk, Edinburgh and nearby).

We will talk you through end of life care, the procedure and your options. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have with no pressure or rushing.

Please understand that although we will do our best to accommodate times and availability that works for you, this service is not an emergency service and that if you are urgently concerned about your animal’s welfare, you should contact your vet straightaway.

We also work closely with reputable pet crematoria and are happy to signpost you towards a local service that we can coordinate with. Alternatively, if you would like to make your own arrangements for aftercare, we are happy to help wherever we can in facilitating this.
